I just started taking West Coast Swing dance lessons. Anyone know a good place where they dance WCS Friday and Saturday nights in San Diego area, and are not too critical of beginners?

J Michael Summitt hit the nail on the head for the info. You can check out more info at wcssandiego.com

Ashley AmaralThey are right about the intro lessons before dance nights. The lessons are free with admission and you can sample the teaching style and meet some of the local dancers who travel from spot to spot in search of dance. Also, San Diego is the city but the dance teachers are located all through the county, so look local but you might have to travel if you find someone you like. One other thing, West Coast is several things but most of all a dance that adapts itself to the music. So don't be surprised if your beginner stuff doesn't match what you see on the floor. Your teacher should be aware of this and help you adapt.
Hey happy dancing people - I'm going to be in d/t San Diego the week after Palm Springs, near the convention center.
Who wants to dance with me and where do I go to do so? :-)
