  Rabbit Rescue in Tennessee? Hi guys, I’ve been looking for a buddy for my bun Pudding, but I can’t seem to find any rabbit-focused rescues nearby. The closest one is in Marietta, GA. I’m nervous about craigslist, refuse to go to a pet store because the closest ones near me are definitely part of a puppy mill operation, and my local shelters don’t deal with rabbits. I’m located in Knoxville, TN if that helps anyone with location.

  Hey if driving 3 hours is OK, Marietta is only about 3 hours from Knoxville, especially if you’re starting from the West Knox area. The Georgia House Rabbit Society is amazing! If this is of interest, maybe check out the adoption info on houserabbitga.com and talk with them in advance so they can work with you on the distance thing. They’ll probably be excited and happy to adopt a rabbit into an existing bunny household and help both Pudding and a new adoptee have a buddy. Plus, you can see pics of their adoptable rabbits on the website (sadly, the pics don’t really show the important part, their little bun personalities. Best wishes whatever you end up doing

My husband and I rescued him from a move where the woman could not take him but unfortunately we have a dog that does not like the presence of blue in our home. We have found him to be food aggressive but it could just be anxiety from our dogs- that being said I would prefer someone who knows about bunnies and not just looking to acquire one!
