  Looking for reasonably priced yet good boat yard recommendations for winter storage and maintenance. --- It has become cost prohibitive to keep our Cape Dory 36 in heated, dry storage in Maine each winter. So we were thinking of moving her back to the more moderate climate of the Chesapeake. We are very concerned about containing costs, but we are willing to pay a fair price for good maintenance. Heard that the climate of the southern Bay significantly reduces the winter prep requirements, and is supposedly much cheaper --- Is this true? Thanks so much for your insights!!

  Where on the Chesapeake? Near Baltimore I know of one climate controlled facility. http://pleasurecovemarina.com but I cannot speak to their new management team. One of the best in Pasadena is Oak Harbor Marina, new 40 ton lift, great community of sailors and the management of the marina is top notch. Kept my boat there for several years. Great place. But you really should offer more info together a better reply ;)
