  For those who are retired or "Ex" LEO ...I'm in the process of going through application for CCW in TN under this statue.....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_Enforcement_Officers_Safety_Act....It allows retired LEO's to carry but you have to go through TN P.O.S.T. ...there's 2 permit options : one is within Tenn ONLY and hte second is in all 50 states...TN is for 4 years and the 50 state is for 1 year....For civilians who wishes to get there CCW permit check at gun ranges or gun shops locally and you should be able to find a good instructor or class.
