Where can one buy onglet (aka hanger steak) for home cooking? Since the Kaufhof in Bonn (finally) started carrying U.S.-sourced onglet a couple of years ago, I assumed that surely KDW's gigantic sixth floor food emporium would have it. But yesterday we got the same blank stare that we've experienced with every other German Metzger. (I don't get it, since onglet is practically the national cut of France.) I know the German translation (Nierenzapfen), but the two times we convinced a Metzger to produce that for us it was disastrous. Something about the drying, I think.
