  Please can anyone offer advice on how to find a leak in our house? We have tried a leak detection specialist who pumped gas into the pipes and then used an electronic gadget to detect where the gas readings were coming up highest on the property but after we dug up those areas,we found no leak. We think it may be in the house ,not in the garden as we can't find any pools or puddles of water anywhere. Is there another way of maybe isolating certain sections of the plumbing in the house and test one by one to locate the leak? Also,finding a reliable,experienced plumber is quite challenging.Most don't pitch up or are not interested and those who do come,don't seem to know or care much. Our water meter runs continuously,through the day and night.Even if everything is shut off. But we can find water anywhere to locate the leak. Thanking you in advance.
