  The only way care credit is a rip-off is if you don't make good on your contract by paying on time, or doing a regular, interest accruing plan because there interest is so terribly high. If you use your card, even if you are doing the 12 or 18 month no interest, make sure each time you use it, the charge is no less than $200 otherwise they roll that charge to the high interest plan.
