  There is no best place, it depends on how much hand-holding through the process a nanny needs. A nanny agency will be able to do the ID check for a nanny but will charge an admin fee. Capita/SecurityWatchdog will do the check for under £53 but the nanny will need to find someone who can complete the ID check for them.   We use nannypaye and they calculate it for you, issue pay slips etc and I then pay tax and NI quarterly online to hmrc

  Finding NannyPaye very helpful and efficient at the moment. Their annual fee is worth not having to complete the paperwork and do the maths myself each month!
