FFAQ is owned by Catherine Bradley Dip IAZ, and soon to be DEP MEPA(UK)! I have 2 diplomas in applied Zoopharmacognosy (equine and small animals) and a diploma in equine podiatry. EQUINE PODIATRY As an EP, I work with barefoot equines, and those making the transition to barefoot. I can remove shoes, but not replace them! My services incorporate a holistic approach to hoof care, taking into account the horses' diet, environment and exercise as well as trimming. I have experience working with severe laminitics, navicular, severe trauma to the hoof capsule, conformational abnormalities, and gait abnormalities causing unusual hoof growth to name a few! APPLIED ZOOPHARMACOGNOSY This is the method of allowing animals to self medicate using natural remedies in the form of essential oils, dried plants, and powdered extracts. The session is animal-led. The animal chooses what it needs and controls the dose. I have worked on animals with skin problems, laminitis, colic, severe trauma and emotional issues, to name a few.
