  That is a fairly well-known reaction to Zimectrin Gold - I've not heard of any serious long-term effects or deaths or anything from it. If you want to report it, you should contact the manufacturer - Merial. If you still have the packaging, I would have it in hand when/if you contact them - they will likely want the lot # and expiration date and such. We had a horse at our barn go through this. In our case, the wormer was expired and they told us that you CAN NOT use it after expiration date.
