About us
My name is John Beattie and I am located in the South West Corner of Scotland, United Kingdom.
I started Leather Crafting as a hobby. I have an interest in the Guns of the American West and the leather that they were carried in. When people started to see what I could produce, I started to get orders and requests for bespoke items, and before I knew it, I was inundated with orders, and the rest, as they say, is history.
I specialize in Pistol Leather, as guns have always been my passion, and therefore I have a good knowledge of the guns that I am creating my holsters for. I create Holsters and Rigs in both the Western Style and Modern patterns, as well as Cartridge, Plain and Money Belts in an array of colours, tooling and finishes.
I consider myself to be a perfectionist, and I will only dispatch an item if I am 100% happy with the end product. Customer's Satisfaction is what I strive for, if my customer is happy, I am happy.
One Holster that I have added to my portfolio recently, is the front break Holster (also known as the Speed Draw, Open Front or IPAS Competition or Clam holster.) which are made to strict Competition Regulations. The 4 main guns which I supply this holster for, are the Umarex Berreta 92, the Colt 1911, the Walther CP88 in 4" and 6", and the S/W (Smith Wesson) 586/686 in 6" barrel. These are mainly requested in Black, but I can offer an array of colours.
