Hi all,
I was planning on writing an email/letter to some of the restaurants in the local area (if not their head offices if they're brands/chains) that erroneously list some of their meals with non-vegetarian cheese as "vegetarian", such as those with Parmesan, Percorino, Gran Padano (a definitive ingredient for pesto sauce, unless it's an actual vegetarian substitute named "pesto"), etc. and politely request that they update their menus and inform staff about such things, too. However, I imagine having more people represented in the letter would be more effective, so was wondering if members of the society, or the society itself, ideally, would like to lend their names to sign off the email/letter? =]
P.S. If anybody knows of restaurants that do this, particularly in the local vicinity, can they comment the name of the restaurant and email address, please? So far I'm aware of Al Duomo's and Carluccio's having such errors on their menus.
