I've had a difficult time finding places with an actual view of the river. I would also like to be able to float a Krathong with her right before the proposal, so if the restaurant has some event or there is a place nearby where we can do this it's a huge plus.   There's a restaurant right on the water in Asiatique, Baan ??? Set menu at around 2000 baht. And they give you a swan boat. If you want to go super schwanky, then there's the royal orchid Sheraton, 4000+ baht / person or the oriental hotel as well. The Restaurants or hotel may put something together for you if you plan and tell them first. :-) https://www.baan-khanitha.com
