This wonderful Victorian station house has been running as a tea rooms since the early 1970's. Situated just outside Burley, its location offers stunning scenery, beautiful local walks and a fascinating insight into local railway history.
The station was closed in 1964 due to the cuts made by Dr Beeching at the time. About ten years later, it opened as a small tea rooms offering homemade scones. Today, we are still making our own scones and serving breakfast lunch and afternoon tea seven days a week.
The Old Station Tea Rooms is also a great place to hold functions and private events. We can cater for large parties and we are even available for evening functions on request!
Why not pop in and see what we have to offer? Don't miss out!
Looking for a decent and quite lengthy cycle route covering old railway lines in new forest, Burley etc.
Lots of links online but most requiring payment to access cycle maps. Any recommendations by chance?
