  I am going to be driving from Chapala, Jalisco to Phoenix, AZ in order to sell my US plated car. On the way up I want to spend a couple of nights in Mazatlan. I have never been to Mazatlan so I'm trying to find out which part of town I should stay in. I'm looking for convenient access to a beach, restaurants, and hotels. I appreciate all suggestions.   Centro Mazatlan, do not miss it, beautiful, maybe one of the B and B's in the area would work for you. Need to enjoy the culture, plazueela Machado, theater etc. Check out Casa de Leyendas, probably good rates this time of year. http://casadeleyendas.com
