Looking for a technical SEO audit We have a Magento based ecom site it's fairly large and complex i've been doing the SEO stuff in house and it's been gradually improving and ranking better but there are a few specific things that concern me and i'd love to get a 2nd opinion.
So in short i'm looking for someone to do a technical audit for me preferably someone with Magento / ecom experience.

here's an internal duplicate content tip specific for Magento sites: 1. site:yourdomain.com inurl:catalogsearch 2. repeat search with ommitted results 3. insert noindex 4. party I've seen some Magento sites with over 20,000 pages of "catalogsearch" pages indexed (mostly in supplemental index). If, for example, you have 2,000 canonical pages in your XML sitemap, and 5,000 in primary G index, and Googlebot crawls 10,000 on a daily basis... there's a big disconnect there. It won't move the needle for you, but you will have a healthier indexation rate & crawl budget.
Can anyone tell me where to find the wordpress "root" directory. I am trying to unzip a file to the root directory for a merchants plug in and am not sure what the root directory looks like. Thanks in advance

It's cleaner that way. Easier to troubleshoot problems and issues. That doesn't mean your site visitors have to go to www.yourdomain.com/wordpress, as that would be dumb. Especially if you're hosting several domains on the same server. It's like putting stuff away in the filing cabinet instead of piling it all over the desk IMO. . .
