I purchased it every year when I travel to Mexico for the winter and this year, the company I used raised their prices from $500+/- to over $1000 for a four month trip. I am talking about insurance that can transport you back to your home state if you have a serious medical need, not just something that covers a coach sear on a commercial airline.
