  I just had a look at the U of I basketball schedule for January. There is a home game on Thursday 1/28 and on Sunday 1/31. I am not sure what that means for hotel rooms but I suggest if you need one, you inquire now. There is not a block of rooms reserved for this event but you can get rooms at the U of I hotel right on site (ph: 217.333.1241), Hampton Inn is near to campus (ph: 217- 337-1100), Eastland Suites is a popular location (ph: 217- 367-8331), and there are many other hotels in the area.
