Hey everyone...I need some help and am going to ask a huge favor. Someone recently was in our backyard and tipped over the statue of the Blessed Mother. Anyone who knows Todd well knows that his "lady" (as he referred to her) was the Blessed Mother. When we bought the house in Utica Todd and I knew that we wanted a statue in the backyard. That being said we picked a beautiful statue of his "lady". Unfortunately, she is very heavy and we are unable to lift her on our own. Dad and I tried but to no avail as dad is 81 and I obviously don't have the strength. Can I call on some of Todd's friends to help out to lift her back into place before the weather turns? You will have to excuse the backyard as it is overgrown and in desperate need of care. If anyone is willing, please let me know via FB Messenger and dad and I will make sure we're there to let you know where she needs to go and help if we can. Also, we have contacted several contractors to see if we can get an estimate on repairing the carriage house roof. Again, no one has gotten back to us and it's obviously too late now. If anyone can give me a name of someone who might be willing to go up and at least put plywood or some sort of covering over it, please let me know. There are huge areas in desperate need of repair. They have withstood quite a bit so far but I'm afraid winter and its buildup of snow will take its toll and it will finally cave in. Todd and I have both taken care of feral cats forever and the carriage house is home to many of them, which is why I am so I'm petrified of the roof collapsing. Please message me if you can help. Thanks in advance. :)
