I would take out from Grill 212. Place your order online when you are 30 minutes away. Pick it up and go sit in the park. Delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. www.grill212.com
Im going to be in the Lincoln Center area tomorrow evening with my daughter & a really great friend. I don't know the Upper West Side anymore (rarely go there). Where is a good place to go for a late lunch/early dinner that is nearby?

It's a bit further, but Grill 212 is a meat restaurant, prices are not bad and the food is good. They do not take reservations, but you can call and check the status. If they say that they are busy, it's worth ordering take out. The kofta kebab is delicious and their luffa sandwiches are huge. It's on 80 th between Broadway and Amsterdam. A short cab ride from Lincoln Center. www.grill212.com
Recommendations please. I need a restaurant in Manhattan, not too expensive (dairy or meat) that has some really healthy options. Preferably UWS but open to wherever.
Which restaurants besides Boeuf & Bun and Izzys are considered to be the best "down scale" places in the New York area? In other words, what are the hottest restaurants for the cheapest food? :)
Traveling to N.Y. for a few days. Any recommendations? Also for kosher supermarkets and take out for Shabbat.
Thank you!

grill 212 (www.grill212.com) is delicious and inexpensive on 80 th between Amsterdam & Broadway. ^^^ lists the best places for Shabbat take out. The Kosher Marketplace was my 'go-to' when I lived in Manhattan.
If you had to choose 2 places for dinner in Manhattan, where would you go (fleshing)? One dinner is Thursday night and one dinner is after Shabbos. I'm staying on the UES.

Not fancy, but for Thursday night, try Grill 212 on W. 80 th St. Homemade malawach ... www.Grill212.com
Any recommendations for restaurants in Manhattan that serve Sunday breakfast/brunch? Has to be cholov yisroel. All I can think of is My Most Favorite and Cafe K... am I forgetting anywhere else? Thanks, all.
Shari B. replied:
Www.grill212.com is meat. Serves brunch. They have homemade malawach on their menu.
My mother is in town visiting Manhattan New York.
Anybody know of any good places with lots of parve options (she's a vegetarian and doesn't do well with milk). Or more specifically a place that has good grilled fish.
Doesn't need to be fancy (ok if it is). Just just can't have a kosher/shvachy vibe.

Grill 212 makes delicious homemade malawach that is served before 4:00. Falafel is also good. Very New York 'cozy' space. Check out the photos and menu. www.Grill212.com
