Need Advice
Looking for some constructive advice on selling youngsters/foals. I have a number which I have bred myself, some have been broken if ready and others left to grow. Their breeding is good (TB x Warmblood) and movement will get the marks in a dressage test, however I have not had much interest.
A few points I need further understanding around;
Is this a bad time of year to sell, sould I just wait until the spring?
How developed do people really expect young horses to be for their age? I dont want to over produce and end up breeding something that breaks down at say 7/8yrs! However the potential can be seen in my horses, they are just green.
Price - what are horses actualy selling for in relation to pedigree, age & CV.?
Market - Is it slow at the moment and a buyers market?
Any positive feedback greatly recieved.
