  Have family visiting who would like to understand the history and impact of communism in CZ better. Any recommendations for museums or other options? We have small children who go to bed early, so hanging out in a pub and chatting with the old folks of not an option. Need something during the day and where children are allowed.

  The impact of communism to this country is indeed rather complex, the perhaps most cruel face of it can be seen here: http://www.muzeum-pribram.cz/en/vojna-memorial-lesetice/from-history/ - the place is not easily accessible by public transport from Prague, though.
