About us
Fit for a Pit is here to provide you with the very best products for pit bull-type dogs. Every item I carry has been thoroughly tested on our own dogs, our fosters, friends & family members' dogs and the rescue dogs I work with at shelters. If it doesn't work well or fit a wide variety of bully breed dogs, I refuse to endorse it!
At least 15% of all profits*, lots of product & overstock/sample items are donated to rescue, community outreach & advocacy groups around the world. (*The asterisk is because there are months--like October-- when 100% of my profit is donated).
I recommend that everyone exercise their pups daily and use only force-free training methods for happier, healthier dogs. Pit bull-type dogs don't need special training! They learn the same way that any dog learns. Believing that they're more stubborn than other dogs or need a heavier hand means buying into the myth that they are somehow different and should be treated differently... which is the theory behind all Breed-Specific Legislation. They're just dogs and they deserve to be treated as individuals. Don't perpetuate the hype!

Looking for something warm (bonus points if water proof) as we live in a chilly climate. Thanks!
