  The end of a very tiring day for humans and dogs alike. Thursdays are always a bit longer than other days due to the advice line in the afternoons which means task normally undertaken betwen 2 and 5 pm have to be done later. Bit of a disappointment on the biscuit front. The recipe was test baked yesterday but would not run through the equipment efficiently. That's the trouble with an automated line, if it doesn't work through all the stages there is too much watage to make the production cost effective. This therefore means we need to have another look at the recipe and change it, or find someone else to bake it with equipment that can cope with it. Sadly, hand made is out of the question as we need initial batches of 75 kilos at a time and bigger batches in due course. We are very happy with the recipe, ingredients and nutritional values, so if anyone knows a family run bakery who can mass produce dog biscuits, get in touch! Good Friday and Easter weekend are now upon us - where has the year gone?

  Try Beach Dog Bakery. They are a way away from you but their ethos is similar in that they have "issues" with a major brand, that's why they started up. Malcolm has invested in time research and taken veterinary advice on all his recipes.
