  Carolyn from natural spring farms is selling some of her young hens. Heres an email she sent out. Backyard Chickens – We Have Young Hens If you or someone you know, would like to start, add to, or replace your hens, we have our young laying hens that just started laying a month or two ago. These were hatched at the beginning of February. We are asking $15/hen and there is a discount if you get 10 or more. Have them call me at 704-796-4168 and arrange to get some for their flock.

  Is there a butcher shop or meat market in albemarle / stanly county where u can purchase meat in bulk? Like buy a half a cow or half a hog? Note: I DO NOT have a live animal that I want to take to be butchered, just want to buy the meat.
