Can anyone recommend a good plumber, one you've used and been happy with. The drain line to my washer has started to give off a pretty bad smell so something isn't right and I need it looked at. Thanks in advance.

Alicia I use After Hours Plumbing. http://afterhoursplumbingandpump.com/ He has been fantastic...honest as can be and flexible on time without overcharging.
Please, please...I need your recommendations for a licensed plumber in the area. Would rather find one who works for themselves, not for a big plumbing company

I really like Doug, the owner of After Hours Plumbing (919) 732-7588. He's nice, efficient, reasonable and shows up when he's supposed to. He's fixed a few things for us now and has done a good job. Give him a call.
local folks: anyone have a contractor/repair man/plumber to recommend? we definitely have to call someone. :(

We've had both of these plumbing companies do work and liked both a lot. Not sure I they can help you with your problem though. Name is After Hours plumbing and pump service-919-732-7588. Local guy building up his business very nice and upfront. We *think* the other was Triangle Heating & Plumbing. They were also pretty good.
I know this is a very boring post but all local friends: Can anyone recommend a good plumber?

We like AfterHours Plumbing. They will come after hours (evenings and weekends) at no extra charge. Chuck has some plumbing knowledge and thought Doug, the plumber, was a great guy. http://www.afterhoursplumbingandpump.com
