  Hi Moira you don't specify what car she drives but for a normal 4 cylinder to blow excessive oil into the air intake is not normal it is an indication of worn out oil rings as you don't mention hard starting that means that the compression rings are still sealing to a certain extend but definitely the engine needs an overhaul contact me at Motor Logistics for a free quote 0814661828
