  More tricky for stairwells that turn like yours. Stripes are VERY difficult (I spoke to a lot of fitters and they all convinced me it couldn't be done). You can also get carpet with a taped edge but that works out at £25-£30 per step just for the taped edge. The fitter would have to come twice - once to cut the carpet, then it gets sent to be taped and then he comes back to fit. That all said, we used these guys to fit the room carpets in our house and they were very reasonable and efficient and half the price of lordship lane carpets.
