From Kate Talbert:
Does anyone know where I can find a Kangaroo Joey feeding pump for free, or at a decent price? We originally got a temporary bedside pump(i had no clue what we were supposed to get) and when we tried getting a Joey to better fit our daughters needs, we were informed the company billed our insurance a one time payment, instead of renting it out for so many months like they were supposed to.(plus it alarmed several times a night and would wake the baby up for no reason, we didn't know any better till we got the joey and realized how bad it really was!)
I have talked to our insurance and tried appealing their decision because it was the company's fault for not billing it right but they said its to late. and the company wont help (in the mean time our new med. supply company is letting us barrow a pump)
So I tried looking on ebay and found one at a decent price, the seller said it was in 'like new' condition and runs great, so we bought it and it delivered way to much formula, to fast...I called a technician and they said either a sensor or the motor is going out and it would have to be replaced.
I contacted the seller and they are refusing to take it back and refund our money and now we will be having to return the borrowed pump very soon and don't have the money to buy another pump! (we did open a case with ebay and paypal)
Any Suggestions are much appreciated!
thank you, Kate
