  Hales, Chuck Wagon, Nookies, Ixtapia, and Taste of Thai for restaurants. Go see the dam and river plenty of hiking. Luckily Hermiston is close to Kennewick, WA which has more restaurants and shopping available and you can show your Oregon ID for sales tax write off too. Renting in Hermiston is a joke if you have animals. Preferred properties isn't the best to rent through but if you're in a hurry to get a place they're good at that hermistonrentals.com there's also A1 to rent through.
