About us
DNA Aqua Aerobics
Lose the Hype! Exercise should be fun, accessible and lifelong......
Exercise programs need to shift from the "no pain, no gain" maxim to "more joy, no ploys". It's simply about moving your body- regularly and forever!
You don't need to feel you have to be killing yourself to get a better, healthier mind & body.
Putting in your best effort and being a better version of yourself is our philosophy. Treating your body with kindness & respect will also get you the results you want for a more wonderful you!
Water is therapeutic and the hydrostatic pressure of water is beneficial for both the inside and outside of the body. You are less likely to feel fatigued and can expect to have an "after massage' feeling.
Water based exercise can provide a low-impact workout, therefore providing a reduced jarring effect on joints and muscles. We offer variation in intensity to allow the water to either support your body weight by making you more buoyant or shallower water so your body becomes weight bearing. This way you choose the exercise intensity while still feeling the cardiorespiratory and cardiovascular benefits.
Another great reason is that water molecules are thicker than air molecules so using the resistance of the water has a similar effect to exercising with weights, creating an 'overload' on muscle groups!
The water allows you a great range of movement and we always add in a stretch and relax at the end, you deserve it!!
Come along and enjoy a great stress release with like minded people who also support you as much as the water.
It's recommended that you wear whatever you feel confortable in as you are submerged in water... no one can see you!!! It doesn't have to be togs, a sports bra under rash shirt with leggings allows for great movement.
Is there any water aerobic classes during school hours ? Thanks

Hi DNA Aqua Aerobics is awesome but we only do before & after school hours, Saturday mornings & Sunday afternoon. www.facebook.com/dnaaquaaerobics We do some 7 pm ones which are pretty fun!! Try Rose at Norville pool as I think she may have a couple of classes during school hours. Also check out the FREE - Be Active Be Alive council classes. Thanks Donna 😊
