  I need some recommendations for a family day care mum (fdcm)!!!! We have had the same fdcm for 8yrs and now she can't not do the days I need next year. I am VERY fussy and would like someone who treats my children as I would and not just an 'educator' as they are now referred to by the system. I am so upset that the early childcare services expect so much paperwork instead of a fdcm being a replacement 'mum' (this is how I see the role of a fdcm for my children) I would like to view their premises and chat before committing to anything so need to be willing to give up time for that also. I have one already lined up for a viewing but I would like other 'fussy' mums to recommend also.
