  Business Recommendation: In early January we had an emergency with water & mold getting into our house. I tried a local business but was blown off. Someone recommended Servpro of the Bridgewaters. I called & Mike Moschella (owner) who lives here in Plymouth called back immediately and had a crew come and help us out. I can't say enough good things about the entire crew. They were clean, professional and informative every step of the way until they were done. I can't thank them enough. No one wants to think of the bad things that can happen but if it does happen I highly recommend these guys!

  Does anyone have experience with frozen pipes in their home? You cannot turn the valve on for one shower in our home. Is it a foregone conclusion that the pipes will burst when it thaws? I am leaving other faucets on a drip now. It's not freezing in the house (62 degrees or so) but this particular bathroom is on a side of the house that gets less sun. Any thoughts? I'm guessing I need a plumber on retainer in case I come home and find the worst case scenario.

  If your pipes do freeze, here are five things you should do and one thing you should NOT do: You should keep the faucet open. As the frozen area starts to melt, water will flow and running water will help melt ice in the pipe. Apply heat to frozen area using an electric heating pad wrapped around the pipe, an electric hair dryer or towels soaked in hot water. Use a portable space heater, kept away from flammable materials, to warm under the house (Never leave heater unattended). Apply heat until full water pressure is restored. If you cannot find the frozen area, if the area is not accessible, or if you cannot thaw the pipe, call a licensed plumber. **DO NOT use a blowtorch, kerosene or propane heater, charcoal stove, or other open flame device. **AND IF ALL FAILS ....REMEMBER TO CALL SERVPRO TO HELP....508-697-5439
