  Ok, so I need to get an eye exam and I'm terrified! I am VERY sensitive to touching my eye and I am mostly scared of the air puff test for glaucoma. Can anyone recommend a good Austin/Round Rock based eye doctor who won't laugh at me? (I'm sure some of you are laughing right now!) The more research I do, the more freaked out I get. Is dilation important? I've never had an eye exam before. Help!

  I really like the Forest Creek Eye Center. http://www.forestcreekeyecenter.com/ The Dr. only partially dilated my eyes and she didn't think they needed to fully dilated. It didnt take as long for the effects to wear off. They do a very thorough history and I felt like no one was rushing me out to get the next appt in. They aren't the cheapest eye care out there, but I think they are so worth the price.
