I enquired Plumpton College, but they said it will be a few hundred as they require you to do a day and a half of training, then for horse hire / examiner time and for the exam. There's 2 of us looking at doing it, but aren't prepared to pay more than £200! If anyone knows of somewhere that doesn't cost a bomb, please do get in touch, as we're desperate to find somewhere.   Hi there we will be running the training and hosting an exam for the bhs ride and road safety. Training starts 31 st march and there is up to 18.5 hours training included. Plenty to ensure you are fully prepared and confident to pass first time. Training and horse hire is £110 or if you want to bring your own horse it's £75.   I was looking at Jewels stables :) thank you! And if you are studying at Plumpton and in further education, you get a major discount. I'm in HE, and get no funding :( I asked one of the lecturers and they said it was expensive but were going to find out prices but they said it was going to be a few hundred. Just finding the cheapest way of doing it! :) xxx
