About us
Dr. Tomase's postgraduate education includes extensive coursework at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, the Midwest Implant Institute and the LSU School of Dentistry's Academy of Continuing Education. He has also personally trained with Dr. Larry Rosenthal, a nationally acclaimed cosmetic dentist in Manhattan. Dr. Tomase is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Toledo Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Pankey Institute and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Toledo Medical Center.

Elizabeth D. asked:Does anyone know of a pediatric dentist that's literally phenomenal with kids? We go to Oregon and they're good yes, but my daughter has a sincere fear of Drs and serious anxiety and they don't handle her well. They're fine for my older son, but my daughter is 4 and needs a less annoyed dentist. Their cleanings are coming up and I'm not sure where to take her. We use to belong to sylvania peds and we left them for Oregon and I have no intentions of going back. Are there other options? They're dually covered with dental insurance so we typically don't run into issues there, usually at least one insurance is accepted. Or does anyone have a family dentist they'd recommend? I'm not talking a little crying, last cleaning she had a full blown panic attack and bit the dentist. Now I don't fault the dentist for being annoyed that she was bit, but she wouldn't listen to me and the situation escalated because of her and the nurse.
