This kind person got a free long-haired rabbit from Kijiji and now is stuck trying to find an experienced groomer that doesn't charge a lot. The ones who can do it want the rabbit sedated. Courtesy post for Tara (780.236.6909). ~ Charlee "I know you primarily help relocate and find homes for cats and dogs. I am in desperate need of some help. I responded to a kijiji ad for a long haired lop rabbit, female. Turns out it is an unfixed male, doesn't really matter. The problem I am facing is that he is so severely matted that he can barely function. He is super affectionate and gentle as can be, but as I am not a groomer, I am at a loss. I tried scissor cutting them out but they are so close to the skin that I risk hurting him. He needs a groomer badly and I cannot get one until the 20th. He will need an entire shave. Please if there is anything you can suggest and help with, I would be extremely appreciative. Popcorn, the bunny, would be forever grateful. Thank you so much, Tara."
