  ACL surgeon recommendation I tore my ACL last year and am looking to see if anyone has any doctor/surgeon/rehab clinic they would recommend. I'd prefer as close to downtown/uptown as possible. Please feel free to also share your recovery experiences.

  Note that he is in Houston. Dr. Mark Sanders of Sanders Clinic. Sandersclinic.net I flew from VA to have ACL repair. This was my third knee repair and I was sick of all the empty promises from my past doctors. Well worth it to travel in my opinion. I'm six years since my surgery and have no concerns. I touched my heel to my butt 2 hours after my surgery. Walked out of the hospital that evening. Only seven days and I returned to work. Research his protocol and see if you feel like your up for what he demands. It's not for everyone but is the fastest way back to a normal life.

  We have a 13 year old daughter who is struggling with EDS and we live in Oklahoma. The hip "specialist" told us there is no Doctor in this state qualified to help us. Does anyone know any Doctors within reasonable distance that knows about EDS? We can't find anyone that will help us. Nobody wants to touch her, they act like she has some horrible contagious disease or something.

  Dr Mark Sanders!!!! He is in Gainesville Tx and Houston Tx. His website is sandersclinic.net. He is the one who diagnosed me and just did a second surgery on me. He is very good BUT VERY VERY blunt. He doesn't sugar coat anything so if you see him be prepared. I absolutely love him and have been seeing him since 2007. It wasn't until this year that he was able to diagnose me since the first shoulder surgery was due to an accident but he was quick to diagnose me this year when I went back to him due to my shoulders constantly dislocating and he knew exactly what it was without making me go through unnecessary tests.
