  OK. I love my dog. I love my vet. But I just paid $259 to get a hair out of my dog's eye (and a $70 heartworm test). Does anyone else think this is waaaay out of line? Or can recommend a good/reasonable vet in the N.Dallas/W.Plano area?

  I've been going to North Dallas Veterinary Hospital on Forest (between Marsh and Webb Chapel) for years. They aren't cheap, but I think they are fair and reasonable. The practice has several vets and they are open on Saturday mornings. Their number is 972-620-9012.
