  I have been having trouble with the right side of my face and head being extremely painful. The pain, even with medication, has been causing my blood pressure to be elevated. I have been to several doctors and had several injections. The consensus is TMJ. I never ever knew TMJ could be SO painful and cause SO many other areas to hurt so bad. Does anyone have a good doctor that they use or know of for TMJ? I need a maxillofacial specialist, I have already seen a neurologist, my rheumatologist, and my internist. My dentist doesn't treat TMJ. If you know of someone good, I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

  Hey Jaide Barnett Winn. Dr. Koslin is good if you need an oral surgeon. Dr Chip Taylor on Hollywood Blvd (also has a location in Hoover) is an orthodontist. He made a bite plate for me years ago and cured my jaw pain and head aches. Number is (205) 879-5216.
