  * * * Can anyone help this gentleman? "Hello, My teenage son is very interested in insects. A few years ago we planted a butterfly garden, with Black Knight butterfly bushes, Honeycomb butterfly bushes, milkweeds (for Monarchs), fennel (for Black Swallowtails) and assorted other flowers. This year we wanted to add more host plants. However, we are having trouble locating the plants we are interested in planting. (We are even coming up empty using the internet to search for these plants.) Do you have any suggestions on where to get Duchman’s Pipevine, Spicebush, False Nettle, or Rue?"

  I don't know where you are located but if you want a Native plant nursery there is one in Media PA..Redbud Native plant nursery. There are also two located in Upper Bucks County PA...American Native Nursery and Northeast Native nursery. There is also Bowman's Hill Native plant sale on Mothers day weekend. I got my two Pipevines from Bowman's Hill. Make sure you get the Pipevines that are perennial in this zone and not the Tropical one.
