I really don't want to go to a dentist as I have no faith in them and don't think they are regulated enough. I've looked into having the procedure done with a Biological dentist using the PIPS Laser system. Dentist advice to take out some tooth (and required anesthetis probably GA not to traumatise her), some tooth to do root canal and crowning. She is just 6 years old and these are baby tooths (gigi susu, not the permanent). M seeking for advice on what food to take and what to avoid? Any chance to save the tooth? And if any of you know where to find alternative/natural practioner/integrative DENTIST around KL or selangor? Obviously this doctor that m seeing is those who support fluoride and and usage of metal for treatment that I am not keen, so m looking for the opposite if there is. Please share with me.

  More....I've learned since that palate expanders may not be the best long-term solution for widening palates, however. Instead, Ramiel Nagel of www.CureToothDecay.com recommends "splints" and "lightwire functional devices". Much research has taught m e that this is not a common practice down here in the southeast. However, there is a dentist in Mt. Pleasant, TN named Michael Tyler who does use a form of these splints. They are half the cost of orthodontics and do not go permanently on the teeth like braces but are more like a traditional retainer in their in and out abilities. He says when the palate is widened in this way, it moves the entire bones of the face rather than just pushing on the palate, so the expansion (and teeth moved) will stay better. A friend of ours (now 17) is having this splinting done on her teeth and palate now, b/c the palate expander and orthodontics she had done at a younger age did not "stick".

  There is a WAPF-friendly dentist in Knoxville, Dr. Gary McCown. I called him for advice about our daughter who must get the tooth removed. He agreed that was our only option at this point, b/c he's not a root canal-doer either. I hear there is an al ternative dentist in Chattanooga, too, but I know absolutely nothing about him. He has an ad in one of those freebie papers they give out at Whole Foods. After many bad experiences, I think a holistic dentist is worth the drive. (BTW, I found Dr. Frazier by looking up holistic dental associations. There is a list of those in Nagel's book Cure Tooth Decay and maybe on his website with the same name.)
