Hello. Please remove if not allowed. New to the Charlotte area and we are in search of a good vet. We are in east charlotte. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We go to Dr. James Schacht, who opened his own practice a few years ago so he could incorporate holistic approaches to his work with animal wellness. We LOVE him and have been so happy with his calm, caring demeanor toward all our animals as well as his careful, holistic approach to treatment. He's on 7 th Street in Elizabeth, close to where it turns into Monroe: http://charlottenaturalanimal.com/
Looking for Vet I am probably going to be getting a cat from a family member soon. It is a few weeks old. Never owned an animal myself, so looking for any advice on the matter. Primarily, I would like the info on any good vets in the area, specifically close to southend. Currently planning on getting it spayed, getting it microchipped, and getting whatever vaccinations the vet recommends. Any other advice is greatly appreciated!
Edit: Thanks guys for all of the great options! I have a lot of places to look into.

All of our animals have seen Dr. Schacht at [Charlotte Natural Animal Clinic](http://charlottenaturalanimal.com/) on 7 th. No complaints whatsoever. Great folks all around.
Can someone please recommend a good vet in CLT? preferably on the east side but not necessarily. Our cat is ill and im not sure our vet has taken the best approach so far. Thanks!

I need recommendations for a good veterinary clinic! Hello!
I haven't lived here but a few months, so I don't have a veterinarian for my dogs yet. It took me a years to find a good vet in the last town I lived in, and as soon as I found the perfect place, I had to move!
Can anyone give be a recommendation for a vet in the area? Preferably one who does dental work, as my husky broke his canine. Price is important, but my biggest issue is finding a place that can handle a dog with extreme vet anxiety. The places I tried in my last town that I wasn't happy with weren't very good at handling a terrified dog. Which surprised me because I thought that was a common occurrence.
Oh, I will also look into recommendations for vets in Clover or Rock Hill as well, since they are pretty close.
If you could briefly tell me why you like the vet you are recommending, and how long you've been going there, that would be greatly appreciated a well.
Thanks everyone!
