  Are there any other alteration services in Wake Forest/North Raleigh area besides Lee Tailors on S. Main street? I went for a super quick bottom hem on my dress yesterday. That plus a slight alteration on the sides turned out to be $44! And I paid only half of that for the dress itself. This is a bit exuberant. Any recommendations are appreciated!

  I highly recommend Shanghai Tailor 2431 Spring Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 919-954-0888. They have altered many dresses for me, do excellent work and are extremely reasonably priced. I made the mistake of going to a different one in WF out of convenience, I won't name names, went to pick up my bridesmaid dress and the alterations were $90! Wow! If you go elsewhere, you might want to get an estimate first.
