  I LOVE the takoyaki at Wann Izakaya. I think there is also a takoyaki bar http://takokyuuban.com/ but I have not been there yet. The takoyaki at Maekawa bar is rubbery. The takoyaki at maneki is meh. I didn't see your original post so sorry - this is NOT U-District based as I have not had takoyaki in the U Dist.
