I’m an author, blogger, photographer, traveler and food fanatic. On my very first trip abroad I learned that solo travel was for me.I am pretty satisfied with living when i am on the move. Just going somewhere for the sake of moving. Hitchhiking, bus hopping, 20 hour train ride whatever.
Furthermore pure curiosity . There are so many countries I don’t know shit about. And then you just go there and be like ‘oh well so this is Tokyo, Bhutan, Delhi…’ I’m currently at point in life where I really like to learn new stuff and when you go to completely unknown places you just learn by well just being there.
Finally I just fancy places , culture life etc different from my home-country. It excites me, makes me feel alive (wow so cheesy ). Guess that’s being out of the comfort zone. For me, travelling is a necessity, like food, sleep, books, etc. without which I can’t do, and if I don’t travel ( even if it involves going for long walks, but I should be on the move) I feel something is missing from my life, and gets suffocated, which eventually impacts other areas of my life.
Oh forgot the thing about freedom, silly me.
Its just an awesome feeling looking over your shoulder seeing your light weighted backpack knowing that’s all you have and need. No pile of stuff that’s holding you back , no schedule that you have to follow, no expectations you have to fulfill . It’s really just the backpack and you. No chains attached (except visa regulations. oh how I hate them )
I travel solo and I carefully observe how I do it. Then I write and share my stories, tips and advice on this blog.
