For anyone looking to put a beloved pet to rest at home, in peace. Check out mnpets We just had to say goodbye to our 14yr old pit/lab mix today and used MNPets’ services. They were really compassionate and let us take our time. No hassle trying to bring our pupper to the vet, he was able to go in his favorite resting spot surrounded by the people he loved. They were quite affordable and was able to answer all our questions and coach us through the decision. Cannot recommend them more for anyone who may need this service in the future.

Yeah we used them for our cat a year ago. Our little guy was 15 and had a tumor. We set him on his favorite blanket on the floor and were all around him as he peacefully drifted off to sleep. They will also take a paw print in clay for you, and provide you a lovely container with your pet's ashes if you want. Just an all-around wonderful service and great people running it. https://www.mnpets.com

I'm so very sorry for your loss. It's such a terrible decision to have to make, but I'm glad you were able to do it in such a peaceful way. We've used Mn Pets and Lap of Love. Both were phenomenal. These vets really are such a blessing. As horrible as it was to say goodbye, it was also beautiful in a heartbreaking way. Unless it's an immediate emergency situation, we'll always choose this option.

So sorry for your loss! We used MN Pets as well and they were fantastic. I had scheduled an appointment for 1 week out, but my cat took a sudden turn for the worse and I knew it was time that day, and they were wonderful about moving up the appointment. Unfortunately he died 1 hour before the vet arrived, but she was so sweet and had a bedside manner I wish all people doctors did. She sat and talked with me a bit, made a paw impression for me, and left information about grief. We were handling the cremation on our own, so MN Pets just charged me $50 because they didn’t administer any medication. After having that experience at home, I would never want to have my pet euthanized at a vet’s office if I didn’t have to.

10 years ago for my cat. I'm so glad the last moments we spent together were in a peaceful place at home where she was comfortable and not scared. MN Pets is a great service. It's never easy, even after all this time, but i does bring me comfort to know that.
We are approaching a sad time - our old dog's days are numbered. Does anyone know of a local vet that will put her down at home? And/or - have you chosen to do this, if so, was it a better experience than going to the vet?
