We haven't had luck hearing back from a couple people that said they were happy to work with us and places are going so quickly we need someone that can put an offer in for us. We realize there isn't much commission to be had in our price range so I think we get very low on the priority list. *Edit* so many recommendations already! Maybe I should clarify....we need someone that can reply quickly regarding a place when it comes on the market, potentially putting in an offer before we see it or could show or call on it quickly. They are as competent as you will get at explaining all of the questions you have and educating you as to the process, which I found I was not able to get elsewhere.
