  I took the wife's laptop to [Computer Depot](http://www.computerdepotonline.com/) a few years ago when it went kaput. I went to the one out west on North Peters. They were really helpful and didn't charge me when they found there was nothing they could do. They seemed pretty knowledgeable about what they were doing and were straightforward and not pushy. A bit of a drive if you live North/South/Downtown, but they were definitely good to us.
