  Hiya am new to group...my 3 month old has had sensitive skin since birth starting around her neck creases, she developed a temperature on Monday and glands were up, no other symptoms, by thurs she had began to get spots and blotches over her body worse on neck and shoulders and creases of arms knees, gp confirmed eczema....px her oilatum for bath and cream, it has since got worse.....I am thinking to stop using px and replace with aveeno cream and coconut oil???? Suggestions welcome...she is due her immunizations next week :( which I have delayed and fear this will worsen eczema...

  try Hope's Relief Cream http://www.skinnutrition.co.uk/p/850/Hope%27 s_Relief_Cream_.html it's excellent, I used it on my baby daughter's eczema in place of the steroid cream the doctor prescribed and it was so much more effective and full of good things.We used the hope's moisturiser along with the cream. oilatum etc made it worse. We also cut out dairy from her diet/mine (bf) as this seemed to exacerbate the condition. try oat baths, water not too hot, no soap. good luck, it's a struggle but most tend to grow out of it - mine is 17 mths and finally eczema free xx
